AgriChemWhey project: Valorization of side streams from the dairy industry

The group is working in an EU-project for the production of high valuable plastics and chemicals out of whey permeate and delactosed permeate from the dairy industry. Lactate from this side streams can be converted into bio-degradable plastics that can be used as sustainable packaging materials.
